Best Practice Network
Hatton Academies Trust are working in partnership with Best Practice Network to deliver the Early Career Development Programme to all primary, secondary and special settings in Northamptonshire.
What is the Early Career Development Programme?
From September 2021, the government is funding an entitlement for all early career teachers in England to access high-quality professional development at the start of their career with a view to greater teacher support and retention. Best Practice Network/Outstanding Leaders Partnership is one of six Lead Providers delivering the Early Career Framework nationwide.
Please take a look a the brochure below for further information.
National Professional Qualifications
We are proud to be working with Outstanding Leaders Partnership to deliver the National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) to colleagues across West & North Northamptonshire.
The frameworks for the NPQs have been updated and refreshed for Autumn 2023 and draw from the very latest evidence and research into pedagogy, behaviour, curriculum and more.
To best address the broad range of responsibilities of current and aspiring middle leaders, three new specialist NPQs have been introduced which support alternate career development.
The 6 NPQs currently available are:
- NPQ for Leading Teaching (NPQLT)
- NPQ for Leading Behaviour and Culture (NPQLBC)
- NPQ for Leading Teacher Development (NPQLTD)
- NPQ for Senior Leadership (NPQSL)
- NPQ for Headship (NPQH)
- NPQ for Executive Leadership (NPQEL)
Full details for each of the NPQs, including the registration form and information on funding, can be found at www.outstandingleaders.org/npq. The team at Outstanding Leaders Partnership can be contacted through the livechat function of their web site or you can send enquiries to firstname.lastname@example.org.
When registering please ensure you select Hatton Academies Trust from the drop down when prompted. This will help ensure your access to local delivery.
