Catering Services
As a Trust we make every effort to reach beyond, looking at ways we can grow and move forward. We have developed the catering provision across both our primary and secondary settings in order to provide our students and staff with good quality, delicious food.
Primary Hub
Our Primary Hub is designed to cater for all of our primary academies with its new state of the art kitchen based at Oakway Academy, and new van to deliver hot and cold food to students and staff at Victoria Academy & Ecton Village Primary Academy.
Sir Christopher Hatton Academy
At Sir Christopher Hatton Academy we now have three catering outlets:
- Hatton Diner - located in the Heart of Hatton with lots of seating, this is an ideal space for eating together. We offer a wide range of healthy breakfast, lunch and snack options. Enjoy fresh pizza, burgers, salads, moreish cakes and bakes, or try our very popular pasta bar. On the move? No problem, our lunchtime hot pots of pasta and curries are ready to go, as well as our tasty selection of sandwiches, paninis and wraps.
- Breezehill Centre Cafe - a great place to warm yourself up with an excellent barista-style coffee. Feeling peckish? you'll find a great selection of sandwiches,cakes and confectionary here!
- Please note: this cafe is also open at weekends for our lettings customers - anyone is welcome to come along for a coffee and bite to eat! Look out for the current menu and opening times on our HAT Catering facebook page.
- Breezehill Centre Grab-and-Go - need a quick sandwich or a sweet treat? then this is the perfect place for you!

How to Order - Primary Academies
Parents at our Primary Academies should place their orders by clicking the logo to the right and logging into their School Grid Accounts.
Top Up your Child's Account - Sir Christopher Hatton Academy
Sir Christopher Hatton operates a cashless catering system using contactless proximity cards. These cards are used to add money to student’s accounts as well as purchasing food in the canteen. Students who are entitled to free school meals will have a card like all other students but will have no balance showing on their accounts unless they have physically added it themselves to ensure their privacy.
Top up your child's account via our online payment system ParentPay. Click the logo to be redirected to their external website.

Free School Meals
If you are receiving benefits or are on a low income you could be entitled to receive Free School Meals for your child. For more information please click here to visit the North Northamptonshire Council Website.
Holiday Vouchers
North Northamptonshire Council (NNC) will be funding School Holiday Food vouchers for the holiday periods for all children and young people who are eligible for benefits related Free School Meals (FSM).
NNC will partner with the online voucher platform, Hugg to provide vouchers and these will be distributed by each academy to parents before the end of term.
Allergens
Our sandwiches are made fresh every day in our Central Production Unit (CPU). All allergen information is available in each outlet - just ask a member of staff if you have any questions about allergens in our food. All of our staff are trained to assist with information regarding the food being served in our outlets.
Food Allergy & Intolerances
Our menu dishes are prepared in environments that are not totally free from allergen ingredients. Our hygiene practices are designed to reduce the risk of allergen contamination and our catering teams receive training to help ensure that these standards are met. Our recipes do change from time to time. Should you have concerns about the ingredients in our dishes: please do not hesitate to ask a member of our catering team who will happily assist you.
